Driving and Striving and Hugging the Turns

Audiobooks don't work on me. I get annoyed by the narrator's over-annunciations and pauses and accents.... So this morning, I'm charging through the West Texas desert (again), restless, anxious for a city, and I just want to rock out.  I put the iPod on shuffle (kinda over my Country kick), and the thing rattled off some unexpected road anthems too good not to mention:

The Distance - Cake
One Headlight - The Wallflowers
Desperately Wanting - Better Than Ezra
Omaha - Counting Crows
Mission - Dispatch
Confessions of a King - The Killers
Disappear Here - Bloc Party

Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

I think you'll be the first one in the family to write a book. Try "See the World" by Gomez. Kinda a snappy little road tune. Great stuff, Johnny. K
